When Eric Metaxas writes and publishes a new book, Dee and I are sure to purchase a copy as soon as we see it. But in the case of Eric’s latest release, Revolution, we had to wait several months from the time it was announced until we could place the order. It was well worth the wait!

Revolution tells the story of our nation’s fight for freedom. It’s filled with the historical facts, but told with the art of a great story-teller. And the author makes it quite clear that our nation indeed was – in spite of what revisionists tell us – founded on solidly Christian principles. The biblical foundation cannot be denied and Eric documents his findings in a most scholarly manner.

This past weekend, our church was blessed and honored to have Eric come and speak to our people on Saturday and Sunday. His messages were God-honoring, as well as a celebration of our nation’s heritage and I would say with certainty that hundreds – many hundreds – of our people had copies of Revolution. The line was long as I and others waited patiently to have him autograph our copy.

Hey – it’s certainly not too late to purchase your copy of Revolution, but you might have a tougher time getting the autograph! In spite of that detail, the book is very much worth your investment of both the purchase price and the time it takes to read it.
