“Wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?”
~ Habakkuk 1:13b

The above verse could also apply to those who, “hold their tongue” while the wicked devour children through their evil words and deeds. Thank God for those who refuse to accept the concept of tolerance relating to those who seek to destroy the innocence of our children.

Tolerance – as the word is presently used – is repulsive. The word is used to force people of conscience to accept unbiblical, depraved, and morally aberrant lifestyles, which are imposed upon families and those who prefer traditional standards based on decency and a long-held standard of ethics. We are told we must have tolerance for those whose chosen lifestyle is unbiblical. We are told we must have tolerance for what is considered to be an ‘alternative’ lifestyle, whatever that lifestyle may entail. We are told that we must have tolerance for those who have a propensity for the prurient, the reprehensible, the vile, the sinful.

Tolerance – as the word is presently used – includes the promotion of sexually explicit books that have been placed in public school libraries. We are told that children should have the opportunity to borrow these books, learn from them, and also that we must tolerate those who promote this wickedness. There are public school teachers who promote their demented lifestyles and some even instruct and promote their so-called choices to the children in their classrooms.

We are expected to tolerate these evil deeds? Emphatically, I say, NO. This wickedness is morally and culturally intolerable, and the word tolerance has become nothing but a euphemism for those things that evildoers demand: acceptance, participation, and complete integration. Though these evil people will deny it, the moral ruination of children and the ultimate disintegration of traditional society are their goals.

We must not tolerate as ‘normal’ that which is designed to degrade and ultimately destroy the lives of our children and ultimately, our society. We must never tolerate so-called alternative lifestyles that will rob our children of their God-given innocence, or that which brings dishonor to our Lord Jesus Christ. We must never tolerate nor allow evil, demented individuals to accomplish their sordid goals.

Instead, let us boldly stand for purity, righteousness, and traditional ethics. These standards must be based on biblical principles that have served Western culture quite well for hundreds of years. Therefore, we must do what we can to defend the innocence of our nation’s children, protecting them from wicked individuals who seek to “devour” them.
